On this Tuk Tuk tour will take you to the Bangkok’s landmark such as, Grand Palace, City Pillar Shrine, Sanam Luang, The Giant Swing, and Democracy Monument.

 

Visit Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

Grand Palace is undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark. Built in 1782 and for 150 years, it had been the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government. Today, the complex remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom. Wat Phra Kaew or the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (officially known as Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram) is regarded as the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand.

B. One Day Tour Arrangement : Discovery of History in Ayutthaya : 06.00 – 12.30 hrs.

 

“Ayutthaya is the former capital of Thailand situated approximately 75 kilometers north of Bangkok"

Visit Bang Pa-In Summer Palace.

Bang Pa-In Summer Palace was firstly used by the royal court as a summer retreat in the 17th century. Most of the buildings that exist today date from the reign of King Rama V, who regularly spent his summers there.

 

Visit Wat Phra Sri San Phet.

This is the most important temple within the Royal Palace compound and the original from which the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok has been copied. Three outstanding Ceylonese style pagodas were built to enshrine the ashes of three Ayutthaya kings.

 

Visit Wat Chai Wattanaram.

Built in 1630 by King Prasat Thong to honor his mother, Wat Chai Wattanaram was conceived as a replica of the Angkor temple. This temple is one of the most important places shown in Thai drama series called, “Destiny (Buppesannivas.)”

 

Lunch at Local Restaurant with Grilled Fresh-Water Lobster (1 Lobster per person)

Enjoy an exhilarating Elephant Ride around the Ayutthaya Historical Park and see the temples and ruins (2 persons per elephant for 20 minutes.)
